Gregg Pessman is actually a real pig farmer from Fulton, IL.....who also loves to make pig marbles!! Ha ha, they are SO fun, and he occasionally makes other non-pig scene marbles as well. He makes a limited number of marbles each year during his off-season, and he's been doing this since the late 90's. His marbles are not glass, but rather made of clay or china, the canvas for which he paints his 360 degree spherical scenes on to the surfaces, and then fire bakes them to seal the designs nicely for life. I've got a really nice collection of Gregg's work, I just love them SO much, just so fun and as whimsical as they come! Every classic marble collection needs one or more of these!
