Paul Stephan, aka 'Micro', has become a legend in the borosilicate glass world for his creation of a large series of Mario murrine and millie, and he has gone on to create every kind of glass item there is practically with his Mario themes embedded. The marbles are the best of course, in my humble opinion, ha, and they go VERY fast since they are so sought after. Before the Mario work though, Paul had a nice career in marble making, and guess what - he still used lots of his own personal millie in his marbles, and so that theme has pretty much continued throughout his glass career. He is essentially one of the original boro millie masters. Paul's early millie were mostly the more traditional style of millie cane, as opposed to the wigwag type of millie that Josh Sable perfected. Paul liked to use techniques that added shaped canes and air traps to his implosions, giving his early marbles a very unique Paul Stephan-stylized approach.
