I first met James, aka Lurch Glass, back in 2016 at the Goosefire Gallery in Westminster, CA while we were doing our Marble Masters show there at the gallery. I was enthralled with his 'lightning' glass tech that he was doing on a dark base that was SOOO freaking cool, amazing glass to see in hand. I had to have some of it in the collection and ended up buying a collaboration piece he did with Akihiro Okama who was also there that year for the show. Fast forward almost a decade and I'm now proud to present some of James' marbles here at Glass ORBits, and some of them feature that gorgeous lightning tech! He also does fun spacey air trap marbles, some with UV on the backsides. James now lives up in the high desert of southern California, near where my parents live, and that's actually how I was able to reconnect with him, ha. You'll want to get some of James' fun marbles into your collection! (Some of James' marbles have tiny micro scratches on them, seen in the pics. They're hard to see normally, but if you shine a bright light and look closely you may see them.)
