If you like boro history in the collection, and especially boro murrine history, as well as Kevin O'Grady history of course, then this marble is a MUST. Made clear back in 1997 at the beginning of the boro and art glass marble movements, this special piece features one of Kevin's earliest murrine scenes - a kitchen table with a couple of items on it, and then a painting and window on the wall behind it. Kevin was soooo ahead of his time, the first for soooo many things in boro. For instance, when you get this piece in hand, you'll see that he put some dichro behind the murrine so that the gold bling of the dichro would shine thru the window like the sun!! It was hard to capture well in the photographs, but in hand you can see it nicely, and it is sooo freaking cool, especially considering this was made in the 90's! There's another little murrine on the backside, not sure what it represents, but you can also see it at the bottom of the vortex from the other side. Amazing piece of history, literally as historic as marbles come. Grab it quick, great price on this one! Signed 'K 97'.
