Wakana no longer makes beads, but while she was in bead creation mode she made some of the finest and most detailed beads the world has ever seen. She has been featured in several prestigious bead publications, widely recognized as one of the world's best, and of course one of Japan's best and brightest (which is saying a LOT). All of her work is made from the super soft Japanese satake glass, so hard to work with in larger sizes (marbles for instance), but perfect for super fine details, and offering an amazing color palette. Wakana loved to focus on various themes in her beads, and this bead focuses on the Japanese lucky cat, so famous in Japanese culture.
