JD Anderson started blowing glass in the early 2000's, and quickly found out that he looooved to make jellyfish marbles. He has made other types of marbles as well, but his focus has usually been almost exclusively on jellyfish, and he has become a master of this style. I enjoyed collecting his jellyfish from the start, because his ideas were always so creative. At some point he had to step away from glass for a number of years, but in 2016 he came back with a serious vengeance, and his new jellyfish marbles are greater than ever, and even more creative and inventive in the stories they tell. He is a master of capturing our minds with the playful nature of his jellies as they float around in their frozen environments, with various themes highlighting their existence. Each sphere is magical, with so much to explore and enthrall as we study every nook and cranny of the glass wonder he has created. He also makes wonderful pendants. His creations continue to evolve and encapsulate everything that is great about glass, so you will want to get some of his amazing work into your collection quickly!
