This is an early Gateson Universe marble from the SECOND year after he started selling them, 2003. For you Gateson collectors out there, this is one you want, giving you a historical piece and a look into the evolution of the Universe marble. In 20, 30 or 40 years when Gateson's body of work spans decades, this will be amongst the most sought after marble you can find, one of those rare gems from the early years, already displaying Gateson's glass brilliance.

This one features a planet that is as rare as they come, and might be totally unique, as it's the only one like it I've seen. That blue planet has amazing texture, and much of that texture comes from diamonds (crushed opals) resting all over the surface of the planet. These diamonds are apparently harvested and then stored in a space net somewhere out beyond the planet in the cosmos, as you can see a huge cluster of the diamonds just floating out there in one large group. Ha ha, AWESOME!! Then there are also two other nicely featured and striated planets. There is a nebulaic halo hovering over most of this system. Lots to explore in this one!
