These are all photos of the same Universe marble - yes, THAT is how big it is and how much is contained within its magical walls. This is a very large Universe, not the largest you will find, but definitely up there. The size allowed Gateson to include MANY universal elements, including FOUR complete and stunning planets (I've seen very, very few Universes with 4 planets inside), a large black opal moon which is hovering over a swirling nebula, many stars, and other smaller planets and moons in the background. In addition, there is a surprise not very well seen in the pics below, since eyeballs and hands and a bright light are needed to catch its beauty - a sparkly asteroid belt caught in a vortex storm (made using crushed opal pieces among other things). Notice the backside of the marble - it has THREE arms radiating out from the center, meaning this Universe has 3 levels of detail, something you'll rarely find. You also see a moon on the backside, indicating the presence of the opal moon on the inside. Folks - this Universe Marble....is.........AWESOME!!!!

The marble is signed 'Gateson 2003', meaning it was made in the first year that Gateson started marketing and selling his Universe marbles, which in turn means that this will be a VERY valuable marble as time marches on. You will come across very few opportunities in your lifetime to purchase a marble like this, where both the level of viewing pleasure AND investment value are so incredibly high. Deluxe Universe marbles in this size sell in the $1500-2000 range currently, so this is quite the exceptional deal here. They are only going to get more expensive as time goes on....
