This piece is part of Glass Eye's planetary/celestial line of paperweights from back in the early 2000's, and I'm not sure why, but these older versions are FAR better than the ones the studio is creating today. This Martian planet is REALLY gorgeous, the artist absolutely nailed it with this one, love it! It is suspended inside the clear optical grade glass with a polished window cut in for viewing. The opalescent outer coating of the piece is killer! The piece is in flawless new condition, and signed 'GES 03 Mars'.
