This piece is part of Glass Eye's planetary/celestial line of paperweights from back in the early 2000's, and I'm not sure why, but these older versions are FAR better than the ones the studio is creating today. This fun piece features Hally's Comet in all its golden dichroic icy glory! The comet streaks through the middle of the piece with a polished window cut in for your viewing pleasure. There are other celestial objects floating against the dark void of space, which is actually cobalt blue to allow some gorgeous blue highlights in the right lighting. The piece is in flawless new condition, and signed 'GES 02 Halleys Comet'.
