This marble is FANTASTIC in hand. The base is this gorgeous transparent green glass that really is beautiful in natural lighting or when backlit especially. I love holding it up to the light! Then that wonderful goldstone is laid on there in what Drew called his spider design, and WOW, does it glitter like the sun! I've only seen goldstone (also called 'lutz') in marbles from two other artists, Matthews and Wald, which was this high of quality and with such magical sparkle like this. It's light years better in hand than the pictures show! Signed 'AF 2000 6'.
