This is a nice sized marble with absolutely incredible design and detail, awesome to explore! It is staggeringly cool looking in hand, you HAVE to see it in person to truly appreciate it! I can't stress that enough - SO...MUCH...BETTER in hand. This is made from one large fused chunk of cane, made up of many, MANY smaller cane, then rounded out and polished. Serious hours of work goes into to making one of these, as all of the different cane has to be created and pulled down, then assembled together into the large fused piece, before the final creation of the marble happens. As you hopefully can see there are also large clear cane running through it, which adds to the mystique and optical craziness. Magnificent work, wholly unique in the world of marbles and only Chris has created pieces like this!! This is #37 from that killer series he called 'Uhuru'. Signed "C/L J U37 '10".
