This is another marble of the 'ultra rare' variety. It is wonderfully done, AND it is the only Johnny Cash murrine I've ever seen from Chris. There may be one or two others out there, but I don't know of them and have never seen them. I've seen any of the Johnny Cash murrina used in any of his multi-murrine marbles either, which makes be believe there must have been issues with most of the cane or something like that. Or maybe it's all in a private collection. Not sure, but what I do know is that I've never seen another slice of this image, and I've seen a lot of Chris' work. Really nice millie surround Johnny, and the backside is one of the cool swirl waves that Chris used to do on his backsides. This is one you don't want to pass up!
