This is Chris' abstract take on an image of Pakoh, one of the world's most renowned and famous glass pipe artists. This murrine is exceedingly rare, as only 4 of these marbles were made as far as I know, and I don't believe I've seen this murrina featured in any other marbles, many murrine or otherwise. The backside features a perfectly placed 'viewing bubble', which shrinks the image down into a tiny image with reverse magnification. Awesome!! Very interesting murrine, highlighting the fascinating turns Chris liked to take over the years in his subject matter and style, and it sort of looks like he was trying to make it look like a photo mosaic, an image made from many other images.
