Katsuaki Takahashi, better known as 'Azul Glass' on the internet, is yet another super exciting Japanese artist starting to make a huge impact on the art glass marble scene! Katsu has been blowing glass for over 10 years now, has learned from some of the best glass artists in the world, and his marbles show us the heights to which all of that experience has taken him. He is best known for his wonderfully detailed and complex scene marbles, depicting locations from around the world, as well as various movie scenes, and he's now got an amazing line of Graffiti marbles as well. He has perfected several locations so far, with many more to come, giving us collectors MUCH to look forward to! He does all of the murrine and millie work himself which you see included in his marbles, and his work is tight and controlled. His scenes invite you to look deep inside of his spherical creations, using all of the optical qualities of the glass to bring depth and wonder to the exploration required as you spin the marbles around and around.
