These are some of the most detailed and delicately beautiful marbles you will ever see or have a chance to own. They are all made by Ayako in Japan using the very soft (120 COE) Japanese satake glass. There are only a few glass artists in the world making marbles out of this wonderful satake glass, and it is VERY hard to work with due to its soft, honey-like consistency once it heats up (hence, so few are doing it). The softness of the glass makes it very hard to round nicely into marbles as compared to the much stiffer borosilicate glass. However, I am thrilled that Ayako is willing to put forth this effort, because the color palette of the satake glass is AWESOME, and her ability to create a never-ending line of different types of glass flowers is spectacular! In my opinion, these are many of the most beautiful marbles the world has ever seen. Enjoy!
