Alex's marbles are SOOOO hard to come by these days - he just doesn't make enough of them, and he has incredibly exacting standards for himself when he does. His work is truly amazing, and this is an incredibly beautiful dot stack and raked marble he made a few years ago that features a sweet band of the sparkly Steel Wool color around the equator of the marble. Each pole has a combo of dotstacking and raking, and there is depth to the design that you can't see well in the pics, with the dots floating above the raked section, with a layer of clear in between. The middle bands of the marble are gorgeous raked fire stripes, outlined so perfectly in white. Like all of Alex's marbles, this gem is just stunningly beautiful in hand!! This is the first of this style from Alex that I've had to sell, hard to let go of. They're all just so magnificent, I want to keep every one of his pieces!! Signed 'Alex C 2020'.
