Alex's marbles are SOOOO hard to come by these days - he just doesn't make enough of them, and he has incredibly exacting standards for himself when he does. His work is truly amazing, and this is an incredibly beautiful early vortex piece of his from a decade ago, so absolutely wild in hand! The fumed vortex is SO crazy deep so that you can't see the bottom without purposely shining a light directly down in there. The fuming is awesome, with those waves of different colors in there. What I truly love so much about Alex's work is that both his fume work AND his color work are equally brilliant. Thus, the backside of this one is excellent as well, and you'll have a hard time decided which side to display. You'll need a flip the marble schedule handy, ha ha.
