A Thousand Gomenasi's (sp)
After being properly admonished for my lack of presence today,
I did a little pondering. I came to realize that what little improvement
I have made in my photography has come from the significant contribution
of some great teachers. Below is one (Jim Osen) who has inadvertantly mentored me
into an emerging studio photographer with his great insight into lighting,
focus, composition, and attention to detail. My orchid shots would be nowhere without
his guidance. Sunday we escaped the Smithsonian Greenhouses and did sunrise at Great Falls.
And where would my sunsets be without Herb's comments about waiting a minute and eventually a
seagull will fly though ;o) But, probably the greatest teacher and influence on my shooting
has come from my friends and mentors on pBase. So again my apologies for getting so
wrapped up in all the little things I was doing and forgetting my roots and greatest supporters.
Thanks again.
