MD's oldest capital St. Mary's City was founded in 1634, and now is occupied by a nationally ranked
very small Liberal arts college, and the historic site monument which contains replicas of some
of the old buildings and the sailing ship the Dove which brought the settlers in. It also host some
large regattas, and the fleet sailed in today for the Govenor's cup. Well I missed the sail boats
arriving but I did get a spectacular sunset and caught this shot. I relearned a very important
lesson today: NEVER leave your camera at home! I was almost going to but decided at the last minute
to bring it with me just in case there might be a shot or two: Well you be the judge I posted this
shot and Five new shots in my widescrren gallery from today!!
