Many of the aquamarines on both Mt. Antero and Mt. White have been heavily etched when they have been reheated after they were originally formed. Though heavily etched on the outside this crystal has somewhere between 10 to 30 carats of fine gem grade material on the inner part of this 1 1/2" long crystal.
