Thanks for the information Birte. I only hope that the night is as beautiful as this one. Unfortunately I do not know much about photography but I guess my Nikon Coolpix is not going to do the job as good as your image. Anyway I still cant wait to get there. Many thanks Sarah Crane
It was taken from the ferry,there is a promenade on the other side of the ticket stands,on your left hand side if you are heading down to these stands,you can get a pretty good shot from there as well, but you will need a longer range lens.I prefer the ferry though,I have many shots of the opera house like this, properly the most photographed icon in sydney, shots like this are a dime a dozen.Yes I know Ken, he is a very good photographer.

Hi Birte. Beautiful scenery. Although I am a little bias as I have this shot hanging on my wall. I purchased it from a guy on photo.net a few years ago (Ken Boxsell). It must be a pretty popular spot. Can I ask you where this was shot from, as I will be visiting Sydney in a few weeks and would realy appreciate standing and viewing for myself this wonderful location. Thanks Sarah Crane
