This should be the poster for all women who from childhood on in their cultures are being
silenced instead of nurtured. The hopeless and haunting eyes tell the story of them all, why to this day are we women from childhood on considered second-class beings when we are in the majority and perform two thirds or the work in the world but only own one percent of the wealth? I wish someone could explain it to me.

This is a very powerful image. There is an immediate connection, for me, with your subject, made through her eyes and the tight crop you've made of her.
