A few of us had the weekend away in deepest Carmarthenshire visiting a friend and helping out on the farm - this ruined 12th century abbey in the nearby village was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1536 but some of it still stands in its picturesque setting amongst the hills of the Afon Ddu
