Ridiculous conditions in the flat today as I WFH on the hottest day on record in the UK. This is a similar shot to one from June 2020 when we had our last really hot spell. Unfortunately, British homes aren't built with AC, so I literally melted over my work laptop :o(

the conditions are alarming in the UK...the Beeb reports temps pf 40C+ at Heathrow, Kew Gardens, and several other places around the country...you'll just have to stay in the shade with a cold beer Doug..

That's very hot for you. I don't recall temperatures like this when I lived in England.
