First rain here for a few weeks; well when I say rain, I really mean a bit of a dribble...still blinkin' hot though (for the UK)

We've had no rain since April 28th and every day over 100 since early June (which is unusual for early summer) I feel your pain!

that's an attractive colour palette under such conditions...a sprinkle of rain must be welcome in mid-growing season..
