What a remarkable place Las Vegas is - visually stunning, loud, colourful, quite literally fantastic. I had mixed feelings though about all the imitation such as New York! New York! above. The whole place seemed just like a giant playground or Disneyworld for adults, and I was slightly uneasy with that...but maybe that's its attraction of course and it's me who's missing the trick...
