Ready to pick! Mine are still the color of the one in the background, with luck they may ripen this year. I like the detail in this shot and the blue sky behind it all.

This tomato is gorgeous! I see a BLT in it's future at my house. Nicely shot.

It rained so much here, mine are still green, but there are a lots of them. tomato plants are the best smelling plants in the world, yes! yes! even better than roses.

This is great. Last summer we learned about eating tomato with mint leaves, truly lovely if you have not tried it.

Coleen Perilloux Landry01-Sep-2009 19:39
Beautiful. You have it all in here, the beautiful sky, the ripened fruit, the unripened fruit; wonderful colors and perspective.
Mairéad01-Sep-2009 19:30
A beautiful colourful image, with the ripe tomato nicely set off against
the green stalks and blue sky. There's nothing as tasty as a home-grown
tomato.
Dave Perez01-Sep-2009 19:30
Now that's a tomato!! Very nice macro .... Super sharp!
laine01-Sep-2009 17:56
That looks like the Ox Heart variety...good to see the spiders webs, they must be gathering any nasty bugs...this looks delicious, Doug.
Bernard Davis01-Sep-2009 17:47
