Overgrown Landy

near Winchcombe, Glos.

Think this old Land Rover could do with a bit of TLC...love the weed growing up the window from the passenger's footwell!

Saturday 8th's entry to the August Challenge; for other travelling Pbasers this month (possibly not with wild plants growing up their legs) click here

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I like the irony in this shot. How whenever a person sees a documentary on exploration of the far corners there's always a Land Rover...as if invulnerable to the Earth's terrain and hazards...but alas, down go man's best efforts into the weeds of the earth. Great shot and find.

What a great find. Love all those greens in it.

I think when the weeds start growing out of your car it's high time for an oil change. Great find and shot Doug.

Wow! what a find. Looks like it is returning to nature to be a big old planterbox! Excellent find!

Good shot. I like landrovers, they look so powerful.

We should file this LR under "former transportation". Nice find. I've never seen one quite so taken over with weeds.

Doug, is your Land Rover eating green grass today? :-)
Mairéad08-Aug-2009 21:01
Doesn't look like it will be going far anywhere soon.

LOL @ Bernard....You did well to find it!!

That's not overgrown, you should see my garden. Besides it's a Land Rover's natural habitat...

Nice find and cool image.

Looks a bit like pot in the window.

The TLC would start with a strimmer!
