I love this time of year, as the hay is baled up ready for storage - bales are a very photogenic subject, and evoke all sorts of memories and images.

The first time I spotted hay baled up this way was on my way to Canada...lovely shot indeed...green trees, blue sky! V

Ha! Just spotted this Doug :-) Thanks for the mention. The bales are out in force here now and I'm just waiting for the rain to stop for 5 minutes to go out and start snapping. August's weather in the Lothians is approaching biblical proportions! Nice shot by the way, great texture in the hay, so evocative I can almost smell it!
