tagaytay is a beautiful hilly/mountain area, about 55 km from manila, one of the most popular tourist destination in philippines. it is also the location of taal volcano, where in the center of the volcano you will find a freshwater lake, also called taal lake, formed in a caldera that erupted between 100,000 to 500,000 years ago.

then afterwards we went to taal city, a small city with still preserves a lot of old buildings that were built during spanish colonial times.
