September 18th_Mendocino & Sonoma Counties

Today we birded Cow Mountain BLM-Valley View Trail (Mendocino County) in search of Bell's Sparrow, California Thrasher, and early arriving Golden-crowned Sparrow and Bodega Bay (Sonoma County) in search of a reported Red-necked Grebe and Arctic Tern. We heard and got a poor visual on a single California Thrasher and we dipped on the grebe and tern at Bodega.
