Growing on the new conservation purchase of the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy. This purchase is designed to augment the adjacent Reardan Audubon Lake Preserve owned by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. In addition to adding diverse vernal pools and ponds to the preserve, this land is at the headwaters of Deep Creek and is critical to the preservation of that waterway. The site provides habitat for both migratory and breeding birds and for a diversity of insect life.
