This gallery contains some of my favorite photos while participating in the Brrrrdathon. Photos were taken throughout the forests and shoreline that span between Isabella and Duluth.
Sax-Zim Bog is an amazing spectacle of black spruce & tamarack bogs, where boreal-dwelling birds thrive. The non-profit organization Friends of Sax-Zim Bog hosts a Birdathon to raise money for conservation and awareness about Sax-Zim Bog. Purchasing land to be protected and establishing a visitor center is the main priority of this non-profit organization. This gallery is of photos that I took during the Brrrrdathon.
