Zephyr & Alawa

We lost three of our pack over the last year or so and it has been devastating to the Wolf Center and to every one of it's people. The Center will never be the same without Apache, Lukas and Kaila.
HOWEVER, the cycle of life continues unchecked and in May, 2011 we received these two pups, born April 20, 2011.
Meet Zephyr, the black male wolf and Alawa (pronounced Ah-Lay-AH-WAH), his smaller but tougher sister.
For the rest of their lives, they will enthrall the public while help to educate people about their wild cousins.
You can visit them by video and webcam at www.NYWolf.org and even arrange to visit them this summer.
