New York City Marathon

I ran New York in 2005 and it was the most fun marathon I've done. Got lucky with the lottery on my first try. What a great city!
I didn't know that many people actually wanted in on the NYC Marathon that they actually needed an NYC marathon lottery. Well I guess a New York City Marathon is a little bit more high profile than the Pig's Knuckle Arkansas marathon, so perhaps it is worth blowing a payday loans worth to fly out and run in the race. I seem to remember seeing a lot of celebrities making a big deal about running it. It just seems like the idea of getting lucky enough to have to run for 26 miles seems a little ironic.
