McNett / McAfee Reunion 2003

The McNett and McAfees got together in Dyer, Fish Lake Valley, Nevada over Labor Day to explore our pasts. We had a good turnout with about 60 people at the BBQ on Sunday. Tours of the Upper and Lower McNett ranchs, The Cord Ranch, and the McAfee Ranch (recently rediscovered/identified) were conducted. A Great Time was had by all with many new friends made. There is talk of making this an annual event on Labor Day. Stay Tuned...

McNett Ranch is a wonderful place I have travelled many miles to find it.What is the family history and when was it built.I have explored all the way up to molini mine and this area is rich in history. The place, the time,it all should be remembered, the hard work that went into building the water system and the apple orchard.the rock removal.I hope someone can tell me about this place. Thanks for sharing these photos of last year's reunion! They are fantastic and bring back such good memories. This year I'm bringing my mom & dad who couldn't join us because of my dad's hip surgery last year. They are excited. I'll be sharing these wonderful photos with them. Tom Poe
