Anyone who has stayed at the Hanalei Bay Resort has probably met John and his wife Laraine. They run the pool shack. That sounds so simple, but it really is not! They also teach surfing lessons, ukelele lessons, fancy lei making lessons etc... Also, John now serves the best and most reasonable hot sandwichs on the North Side of the Island! The are very warm and gracious people that make all the guests feel like Ohana, which is Hawaiian for Family. Thank You John and Laraine!
