(It makes a HUGE difference in the quality of the photo when you get the camera down low at the level of your subject.)

This is a rare camera or lens mount that is reversible with one side that has steel feet to slide along the snow or sand as you move towards your (wildlife) subject or rubber feet for stationary use.

You can also use this as a tripod to hold your camera or lens when you put this pod on a table or other raised platform.

I would use this device (if I wasn't now TOO fat and too old to get down to ground level to take photos.)

The only defect in this item is that some of the cork has come off where the camera attaches - visible in one of the photos.
