My sweet Lhasa-Pom was put to sleep a few days ago. I've cried my eyes out. Best dog ever in my life. Will consider getting another female hopefully black and white if anyone has a healthy puppy near Kentucky within driving distance. Send pictures and info to email@lizette.us

my lhasa/pom named chloe, is a very special dog..she is 9 yrs old now and weighs 12 lbs. when we first got her she was a black ball of fur, but after a few yrs and a few hair cuts, she turned a gray/light black....if she does shed, it just rolls into a small ball. she is very smart and protective of us....she also thinks she is a VERY BIG dog. haha. she is also, a diva, she wont go out in the rain without an umbrella and she can sneeze on command..: )

Just an update since my 2006 post. Chanel the black and white Lhasapom is still the love of my life. Best dog I have ever had. She had more of a professional cut a month ago. Her hair is clipped shorter on her back, neck and tummy. Left the hair long on her legs and tail. She weighs about 15 LBs and is totally healthy. She has has a couple of near death experiences brought on from original food from the kennel where I bought her and later after eating rawhide chew bones from China. Now I keep her system pure with distilled water and natural foods made in USA. Sure...I pamper her, but she so worth it. Love her to death. Email me for pictures at email@lizette.us.

I just bought a Lhasa Pom at the pet store. It was one of those expensive places you would never buy a dog. But, my girls and I fell in love...at first sight. So, I negotiated down to $700. I really didn't care how much he was. He is so cute. Gets along with our other dog (Cockapoo) and our cat. I'm just learning all about him and I have to say so far very worth the effort...well, he's 12 weeks so, we still have a lot of growing too do. But, I think the best little lap dog.

We have a great little 8 month old lhasa-pom and absolutly love her!! We are actually looking for a little boyfriend for her and have had that hardest time. We live in Southern California but would pay to ship. Anybody have any ideas or help for us?

I just purchased a Lhasa Pom and I love her! She is only 8 weeks old and is a bundle of hair! She is all black with brown paws. So far I have had ver little issues with her. The only thing she does is tear apart her training pads! I plan on house training her as soon as her third shots! She never crys and is great with everyone.

We just brought home our lhasa-pom mix puppy yesterday and have named him "Sirius". He is calm, curious, super sweet and we all are head over heals about him.

I have an 8 year old lhasapom and he is the best dog I have ever had or met. I get offers to buy him all the time. (I never would sell him) Very mild mannered does not shed much at all if kept trimmed. We let him grow out once and if he wanst brushed constently he shed everywhere. He is really great with our kids also. LhasaPoms should be an offical bread!

We got a lhasa pom about 1 1/2 months ago. She is white with some cream on her ears and back. She is the cutest litte thing we ever saw. She is very spunky and is great with children. Our puppies hair is out of control. It is already very long and in her eyes. She looks like a stuffed teddy bear.

We purchased a Lhasa-Pom a little over a month ago. He is only 13 weeks old and is adorable looking. I am axious to see what he looks like when he becomes an adult dog. He has a short coat all over and he has a longer hair growing out all around it - it is hilarious. Everyone always asks what kind of a dog it is and thinks he is really cute. He is a big baby. He has cried at the vet both times we went to get shots, but he cried before they even did anything to him. The vet laughed at him and said he is a big baby.

I have a AKC Pomeranian. He is 5 pounds and is a very rare exotic color called blue merele. My neighboor has a Lhasa Apso female. She is 8 pounds creme colored. She is in heat and they called and asked me to stud out my male with this female. I cannot decide if I should do this. I was saving him to breed with another female Pom that I have now. She is too young to breed so I was waiting. Anyhow they offered me half the litter. How much do these dogs sell for? Are they hard to place? I do not want to keep the puppies I already have three Poms. I see the pics of Devlin soooo cute. I just do not know if this is the right thing to do. Any comments?

I have a beautiful Lhasa Pom called Chanel. She is black and white. When I got her at 9 weeks her weight was 1.6lbs now is up to 11lbs now that she is 15 months. She is the ultimate diva with long hair that I trim but will not clip short. Cutting short ruins the texture if their hair which tends to be curly when wet. They do shed but need to be combed daily to take out knots. I trim with her paws, around eyes and underneath every 2 weeks or so myself. She has never been to a groomer and looks better than all those shaved off dogs that look cookie cutter. Email me for a pic. I also know where there is a breeder in Nicholasville, KY. These dogs are absolutely fab! Best dog I have ever had.(The most beautiful one too!)

my husband and i found our lhasa/pom about 2 years ago at a little pet shop. we just happened to find her in her little cage and we fell in love with her. she was all matted and long when we found her because the store didnt take care of her but we got her cut good and shes the most beautiful dog ive ever seen i love her. shes black and has a white patch on her chest.. shes the best dog ever and we are so lucky to have found her.. if anyone has any info on finding another one. thanks

I have a lhasa/pom and she is like no other dog I have ever seen. She is so beautiful and is the sweetest little thing. She doesnt bark like most little dogs. She acts just like my lab(I think that she thinks that she is a 90lbs dog)! Everyone that meets her instantly falls in love with her. If anyone knows where I can get another one please let me know!:)...here is a pic of my baby!

Lhasa Apso Poms are great little dog. Are family had ours for almost 14 year we actually had to put her down recently she was the cutes nicest dog we ever had. They have a great temperment and they don't shed much at all.
