I saw this fledgeling hopping from branch to branch. I was curious about what it was doing, so I took some pictures. I didn't even know he was sticking his tongue into the hollow twig until I started post-processing the photo! (Sorry for the quality - it was terrible lighting from far away.)

I wonder if there was a prize to be had...?
