We visited Qumaran on the Dead Sea where the Deas Sea Scrolls were found. The scrolls were discover between 1951 and 1956 hidden in clay jars in caves that were preserved by the dry climate for nearly two thousand years containing the Books of the Old Testament, the Apocrypha and the Essene Jewish sect's own works.
