We toured the Dead Sea area. The Dead Sea or Salt Sea that is 35% salt and getting smaller and smaller. At current rate the sea will be gone by 2050. The only source of water to the sea is the River Jordan and today no water reaches the dead sea all consumed by the nations along its route.
Next we visited the Masada Park by Cable Car. Masada is the mountain top fortress build by King Herod and was the last stand of the Jewish rresistance againt the Romans in the year 73 AD.
Next we went to stay the night at the Jericho Hotel for New Years Eve.
