We visited the Caesarea Philippi at one of the sources of the Jordan River at the Banias in the Golan Heights. This is where the Apostle Peter made his confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God (Matthew 16: 13-17).
The Greeks also built a temple at this site.
