Vernal Falls

Yosemite National Park

Vernal Falls is about a 4.5 mile hike from the parking area near Curry Village. The path is very good, but it is
quite steep in a few areas. Plan on about 2.5 hours time to hike up and much less to hike down. The water flow
in autumn is low, but it is one of the very few falls that runs all year in Yosemite Park. It is worth the hike up to
the bottom of the falls even during the times when the flow is very low.
