Controlled burning in the souther part of Yosemite National Park resulted in some of the smoke drifting up Yosemite Valley. It was
especially bad on the day that this photograph was taken at Glacier Point towards the northeast. Just before sunset, the visibility
improved considerably as a result of the sun no longer reflecting light back from the smoke. A raven decided to light on a granite
ledge to check out what I was doing. He was probably telling me that it was much too smoky to photograph anything.
