Well spotted. The painted objects are oddly shaped, yet seem not to originally hve belonged to this particular tree.

Interesting find. I've noticed "less artistic" things—small kids' fairy-tale toys being left in one of our local parks and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Obviously not everyone shares the same aesthetics and I personally feel nature is fine as it is and doesn't need embellishment.
