On Saturday, August 5, 2006 I completed my first Century Ride on the Brandywine Bicylce Club's annual "Dog Daze Century". It was a life-long goal of mine and finally this year I found the courage to attempt this 100-mile ride. Actually, the physical part was easier than I thought...it was the mental preparation and the committment that now seems to have been my biggest challenge. Looking forward to my next Century sometime in the future! Thanks to the BBC for sponsoring such a fine event.
