After our fun exploring tour of the Southside Slopes on July 3, 2013, it was time for dinner.
We chose to go to a restaurant that was close to our hotel, located in the original German neighborhood,
and recommended by the hotel staff and two of our friends who ate there earlier during our Pittsburgh visit.
Max's Allegheny Tavern is a corner bar with three dining rooms, though we ate at a booth in the bar.
This tavern served authentic German fair and was a throwback type of eatery which my wife and I really enjoyed.
