With Miles Davis by Stephen Paley

Again, the recording sessions included a visit from an extraordinary jazz artist--this time Nyro's hero Miles Davis.
He was asked to play a trumpet solo on one track, but after listening to it demurred.
"I can't play on this," he said. "You did it already."

...says Maggie Paley. "There was not any kind of feeling of rejection. She felt he had given her high praise."
Stephen Paley's camera captured Davis at the session, wearing huge sunglasses as he sat on a stool beside Nyro and she looked at him shyly and adoringly.
